Today is Day Two of the Suitcase Entrepreneur’s 30 Day Blog Challenge.
Today Natalie (author of the book and the person who is running the challenge) questions whether we’ve got what it takes to be a Suitcase Entrepreneur. She talks about developing your Freedom based mindset and about the four things you need to be free. Really interesting stuff.
So in line with this, and in the hope of exercising my Freedom based mindset, today I’m writing about what I would do if I woke up tomorrow and were free to do anything I wanted with my life.
What would I do if I woke up tomorrow and were free to do anything I wanted with my life?

Gosh, this is a hard one. Mostly hard because I truly believe that I AM free to do anything that I want with my life and therefore I am living my life in exactly the way that I want to at this moment in time. I absolutely LOVE my life! I love the environment I am in, the people I’m surrounded by, the work do on a daily basis and the relationships I maintain. I love fact that well being is such a huge focus for me and that I contribute a fair amount of my time to keeping healthy, active and fit.
However, there is ALWAYS room for improvement! So I think the question is not so much what would I do if I were FREE to do whatever I want (because I always feel free) but Where am I ultimately heading with living my life in the way I currently choose to live it? OR Given the way I have chosen to live my life, what are my long term goals?
Both my husband and I are extremely driven by variety. We thrive in an environment that is ever changing and consistently challenging us. We both LOVE to wake up and not necessarily know exactly what it is that we are going to do that particular day and when we moved to Australia (from New Zealand) just over two years ago now, this is exactly how we were living. The thrill of packing up, selling off our possessions or giving them away and then relocating (on that occasion with only enough money to last us about a few weeks) was what we both really loved about our move. Second to that, everything you get from travelling together as a family is unbelievably rewarding. Learning, Growing, Seeing and Experiencing other cultures. Exploring places you have never been, meeting new people and eating new foods, discovering new things, new ideas and new ways of being. This is what I truly love the most!
So, to answer the question, I would have my Internet Business earning enough money so that my husband did not have to work. I would have our lifestyle further refined and arranged so that we could spend every weekend and every school holiday discovering a new part of Australia (as this place is so absolutely enormous) or travelling to a new overseas destination.
So for me, building on what I already have set up with my online business and multiplying it by 100% would be my biggest goal – that would in my opinion enable me to free my husband of his J.O.B, for us to continue to maintain the lifestyle we currently have and also to start reaching some of our International Travel dreams.
What would you do?
If you could wake up tomorrow and do anything you want with your life, what would you choose? It’s great to just sit back and take a moment to think about this for yourself. When I did this, it was incredibly powerful. I ended up having a discussion with my husband about our life and our goals and dreams – try opening up to your partner, close family member or friend and you never now, you might end up with a totally renewed vision and sense of focus!
