Ok so today I’m going to let you in on My top three tools that I use in my online business today to save me time and money.
There are some basics that you need to build the foundations of your web presence online such as your hosting company, a platform to build your website on, your domain name provider etc… for these three things, I use Hostgator (web hosting), WordPress (to build and manage my blog) and Go Daddy (to buy my domain names). However, once you’ve got these basics set up, there are just those special tool that provide that extra value to your business because they save you TIME and MONEY!!! After all, that’s what we’re after isn’t it?
So today, I’m taking the time to give you the info on what I would consider my top three online tools – the first one is the only one of these three that I pay a monthly subscription for, the other two I currently use for FREE! (Gotta love that!)
Anyway, No fluffing around today, it’s just straight to the point, so here they are in no particular order :
I use Aweber to manage and communicate with my email list. I haven’t tried any of the other companies but I’ve been using Aweber for over 12months and have never had any problems with them. For $19 per month, it’s great value. I particularly like the drag and drop template system for building a professional looking email newsletter, quickly and easily.
This one I couldn’t miss out of the top three. There are many tools that I use on a daily basis but this one is probably one of my ultimate favourites. It’s called Shortstack and I use it to create those nice looking Facebook tabs that sit at the top of your Facebook Fanpage.
Here is a pic of my Facebook page showing the tabs I currently have loaded up there. Click through to my Facebook page if you haven’t seen it (make sure to click LIKE and leave me a message to introduce yourself).
Look, I just could not for the life of me, leave this one off the list. I use picmonkey probably nearly everyday and on many days I would use it several times in the day. I have used it to create logos, cover photos, banner ads, images for blog posts and inspirational quotes for my website and that’s not to mention the other things outside of my business that I’ve used it for like photo collages and invitations etc…
So, Aweber, Shortstack and Picmonkey would have to make up my Top Three Tools list for an Online Business. What would you consider yours to be? Do you have any favourites that you’d recommend? Let us know in the comments!
Tomorrow is FINALLY a rest day from blogging so I’m really looking forward to the catch up. We’re heading into the last third of the blog challenge so feeling very happy with myself for how far I’ve come on this blogging journey! What a challenge it’s been!
