Wow, today’s blog post took me a good two days to get through. In the Suitcase Entrepreneur’s 30 Day Blog Challenge, the topic of conversation was ‘The Three Main Ways to Make Money Online’. There was quite a bit of information given to us today, in fact it was so jam packed with value, I couldn’t bring myself to skip any of the tasks and ended up setting myself back a couple of days. Anyway, I’m here now and glad I’ve gone through the process fully as I’ve had some huge breakthroughs. Let me explain…
Natalie tells us that the three main ways to make money online are as follows :
- Create your own products and services that solve other people’s problems
- Promote and sell other people’s products and programmes that solve people’s problems
- Advertising for other people ie. Using your blog space to charge other companies for their advertising etc…
In order to get a more detailed explanation of this, watch her youtube video below :
The task that took me quite a while however was Creating my One page Business plan and you can get the full instructions on how to do this by reading this post. This was an immensely valuable activity to do and I now feel extremely focussed and have a lot more clarity with what I am doing and where I am going so if you are interested in building a business online, I would highly recommend going through this process.
So finally, I’d like to answer the question that was put to us which was “Which are the key online revenue streams you want to focus on in your existing business?”
At present I am doing a little bit of both numbers one and two ie. Creating my own products and services as well as Promoting and selling other people’s products and programmes but after writing up my top three priorities on day 6 of the challenge and now completing my one page business plan including goals, I am clear that I will focus primarily on creating and selling my own products and services.
I have already made huge progress towards my next product and am excited to keep you updated on how it’s going. Stay tuned for more.
Please leave me a comment about what you found useful in this post and if you have come to a decision about your own business income stream, please let me know – I’d love to hear of your decision.
